The HP CP1215 is an HP Color LaserJet printer well suited for a single user or small office that needs a compact, speedy printer that can easily handle printing a variety of jobs on a variety of media. The HP CP1215 is designed to print roughly 250 to 1,000 pages a month, but with a monthly duty cycle of up to 25,000, you can count on this printer to provide you with the quality and cost efficient prints you need. This printer measures only 15.7 inches wide by 17.8 inches deep by 10 inches tall, making it easy to fit in any sized office, and making it an ideal desktop printer.
The HP CP1215 connects via a standard high speed USB 2.0 A to B cable that can be purchased from any office supply or computer store. This printer does not have networking capabilities. The HP CP1215 is compatible with Windows 2000/XP home and professional, Windows server 2003 and is certified for Windows Vista.
Color Printer
This printer comes equipped with HP CP1215 toner introductory cartridges in black, cyan, magenta and yellow. Additionally HP toner cartridges can be purchased to provide you with a higher page yield. HP black toner cartridges (CB540A) have a page yield of roughly 2,200 pages, while HP magenta, cyan, and yellow (CB541A, CB542A, CB543A) have a yield of 1,400 pages. These HP toner cartridges use HP ColorSphere technology, so you get high quality prints while still getting a high page yield over the life of the toner cartridge.
The HP CP 1215 has a exceptional print speed for a desktop printer, printing at a speed of 12 pages per minute for monochrome prints and 8 pages per minute for color prints. When the printer is in a ready state, the first page out time is as quick as 24 seconds for monochrome prints and 30 seconds for color prints so you can quickly begin printing and working. The HP CP1215 has an input capacity of 150 sheets, to meet all of your daily printing needs without making you pause to refill the paper tray. This printer has a maximum resolution of 600 dpi by 600 dpi so all of your prints come out with crisp text and bright, vivid images.
The HP CP1215 comes with 16 MB of memory installed and a 264 MHZ processor that can easily handle the print jobs it is given. This printer's memory is not upgradable.
