The HP CP 1025 is the perfect LaserJet color printer for a business or office that needs an exceptionally compact, eco-friendly printer that can still provide them with the speed and quality that they want and need. With a monthly duty cycle of up to 15,000 pages, this printer can easily handle the workload of a small office while still remaining one of the smallest laser printers on the market. Measuring only 15.7 inches wide, 15.7 inches deep and 8.8 inches high, the HP CP 1025 color LaserJet is compact enough to fit into any office, or even to fit on a desk. Nevertheless, this printer has the speed and quality of a printer twice its size.
This printer utilizes a standard high speed USB cable for connectivity and is network capable through a Ethernet connection. Additionally, this printer has wireless networking capabilities built in. The HP CP1025 color LaserJet is compatible with Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows 2008/2003/XP, and Mac OS X 10.5.8 and above, as well as several Linux operating systems.
Color Printer
The HP CP 1025 color LaserJet ships with four HP CP 1025 toner cartridges installed. These introductory toner cartridges came in four colors; black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. Additional or replacement HP toner cartridges can also be purchased. The replacement black toner cartridges have a standard page yield of 1,200 pages, while the replacement toner cartridges in cyan, yellow, and magenta have a yield of 1000 pages. The page yields of these HP toner cartridges make it easy for you to spend more time working and printing, and less time changing the toner in your printer. This printer has one print tray that can support up to 150 sheets. Additional print trays are not available.
Despite it's small size, the HP CP 1025 color LaserJet has a quick print speed of up to 16 pages per minute when printing in black only, and 4 pages per minute when printing in full color. The first page out time of this printer is as fast as 15.5 seconds for monochrome and 27.5 seconds for full color, so you will not have to wait long for your prints to begin no matter what documents or images you are printing. The HP CP 1025 color LaserJet comes with 64 MB of memory installed that cannot be upgraded, and is powered by a 400 MHz processor. This printer prints with a maximum resolution of 600 dpi by 600 dpi.
